Really good item, easy to use good user interface and synchronisation with the MioShare worked first time.

I had a Cat Eye G10 I always had problems with it from the start, the cradle was rubbish it broke, the
USB lead was cheap and flimsy and it was nearly £20 more.

Very pleased with the performance so far.

It's a great little thing: light weight, small, sturdy and weather resistant. Battery lasts for ever and a day. My only problem is with the CycloAgent software which is a hit and miss, it often takes me 10 minutes to get it to sync my sessions which gets very annoying very quickly. It is really frustrating when you have to keep connecting and disconnecting the devise hoping it will finally sync.

To download the GPX file for uploading into your favourite sports tracking up you have to go to the mioshare website and download each individual session, no option for doing so in bulk which is also annoying if you sync it only once a week or so (there is an option to link with Strave account so it uploads automatically, so you're fine if you use Strava).

Really disappointed because it is a great little gadget but it seems the manufacturer gave up on the software development way too early. I shall steer away from Mio in the future for this reason which is a shame.

PS, this was tried on a windows 7, windows 8.1 and two windows 10 machines with the same problem syncing data. It maybe that my unit is faulty, but I think it's the software.

WHAT FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY THIS PRODUCT IS .. I LOADED THE NEW CYCLO AGENT SOFTWARE AND IT LOADS MY RIDE DATA EASILY. FOR THE PRICE ITS FUNCTIONALITY IS AMAZING AND JUST WHAT I NEED. I ALSO BOUGHT AN OUT-FRONT MOUNT
WHICH IMPROVED THE STANDARD MOUNT POSITION. IT IS ALSO GREAT AS A TRACK LOGGING UNIT, I USE IT EVEN WHEN DOING A LONG WALK AND WANT TO SAVE MY ROUTE.

The Mio Cyclo 100 is a great compact unit. It is much smaller than my Garmin Edge 305, so it is a very neat fit between my Tri - Bars. The unit is very easy to use with a very clear display. One of the best things about the whole Mio product is how easy the Mio Cycle Agent software is to use. Very quick to connect to P.C. & transfer the logged data.

The good points: it goes a long time between charges, it's easily readable, you can have it display in portrait mode or landscape to suit your bike. It's customisable, easy to read and has a useful range of information. It's robust and well made. The bad? It's inaccurate. I am trying to clock up 2000 miles this year, and this thing only records about 99% of the distance of every ride, very consistently. I have checked this against Google Maps and two other GPS devices - it's definitely the Cyclo 100 that's the odd one out. Secondly - it doesn't play nicely with Linux (I haven't attempted connecting it to a Windows machine) so I can't upload routes and other recorded information to my PC.

If neither of these negative points bother you it's a decent buy for £49.99, which is what I paid for it.

UPDATE: Since I wrote this I have obtained a Windows laptop, and tried several times to transfer activities from the Cyclo to it. In this respect it is clearly unfit for purpose - it simply doesn't work. I am an IT specialist and I have followed the troubleshooting advice from the Mio support site carefully. The CycloAgent software genuinely is absolute rubbish, so if you need reliable activity logging buy something made by Garmin instead. Deducting another star.
