Product description

Review

The clarity and domestic observation of the illustrations make this a book to pore over and reread, which will become, like Tink, a real friend. (Nicolette Jones The Sunday Times 2008-04-13)

A fun sibling tale with a twist that has a gentle illustrative style with a vaguely vintage vibe. Chichester Clark has created a sweet double act in a girl-meets-panda love story. (Junior 2008-06-01)

The pictures have Emma Chichester Clark's wonderful subtlety of colour and Minty has the most expressive eyes possible. (Carousel 2008-03-01)

A heart-warming story, drawn and told with Chichester Clark's usual abundance of charm . . . A delightful book (Books for Keeps 2008-07-01)

a new pair of characters to delight all four-year-old girls, this has much the same appeal as the Blue Kangaroo books. (Children's Bookseller 2008-03-21)

Book Description

We were given this book and loved it so much I gave another copy to a friend of my daughter's for her birthday. The story is utterly charming - a toy bear who is actually alive - and there is just enough suspense to keep an active 5 year old interested, the ending is happy without being schmaltzy. But the most amazing thing is how great it looks, the colours, the patterns are gorgeous, slightly like lauren child's (charlie and lola author) but less kooky, more drawn. altogether a great book for 3-6 year olds

a very well written book. my kids loved it. My 5 year old boy has memorised the words and my 3 year old girl reads the story in her own style. A good book with a nice ending. Encourages brother and sister love and cute imagination. I have blue kangaroo books by Emma Chichester Clarke and I am definately a fan. Great reading for kids!!!

We love this book. The illustrationas are wonderful, and it's got a slightly magical feel. Last night my 6 year old said she wanted a long version.

This book was in a lounge that my family frequently visits, and my son (3 yrs old) always goes to fetch it. He loves the story. Unfortunately the book has been thrown away at the lounge (it was missing some pages from other readers), and so I ahve ordered a replacement for at home.
