Really couldn't be more impressed.
Ps. It does Celsius or Fahrenheit, but I can't work out how to change it. Mind you, I'm not an American, so Celsius suits me!!
Given that just one fish is worth more than the thermometer, I'd suggest getting a more reliable model.
When I opened the packaging one of them was already fault, displaying --.-c
I contacted the seller and was quickly refunded.
The other unit was correctly reading, and did so for 2 weeks in the aquarium until one morning I noticed the temp a little high. I left it to see if it would keep climbing. As it did I put my hand in to check and it felt normal.
I then moved it to my other aquarium and continued to watch it climb to over 70c in 25c water.
Again the seller was great, promptly refunding but the time to email etc I would have been cheaper spending an extra few quid on something like the aqua medic one that still works fine after 3 years in my other system.
But this one is great for the money could not believe the price and quality, battery in and put in aquarium straight away, just a little wait on delivery but not too bad a couple of weeks or so.
The instructions are very basic but I think what they say is: take battery -- put battery into thermometer -- put thermometer in aquarium. That's all you really need.
I would recommend this, even just as an outside temp gauge, plus it's cheap.
As it's coming from Asia, it will take a bit of time, but it did arrive and work perfectly when it came.
