Ordered and delivered on time.
Good toy for a 3 + year old. Fairly robust and will operate on a carpet as well as a smooth floor.
Recommend recharged type batteries to be fitted, as no batteries come with the toy.
It will last for about 4 days of continuous play with the re-charged batteries fitted, before a fresh set of batteries required.
Excellent toy, can highly recommend it.

At a loss what to buy for our three year old's birthday so soon after Xmas so we picked this, None of us were
disappointed. It's robust and our door frames are surviving. He has no problems controlling it with the mini steering wheel (he has struggled with the older boys remote controllers). So an excellent 'first' remote control car for a young 'petrol head'and at a good price too.

Our three-year-old daughter, having begged us for some time for a remote control car, wasn't all that taken with this.

Largely that's because of the difficult steering controls, which make moving it around rather counter-intuitive, that she finds very off-putting. I practised with it for quite a while before I got the hang of how to get it to go where you want it to go, but a child with a short attention span might not get that far. The counter-wheel underneath the car is a very clever idea, but it doesn't lend itself to the simplicity that the rest of the toy is about. If there had just been a "turn left" button and a "turn right" button on the remote, that would've been a lot easier.

It's a shame about the steering, as otherwise it's really rather good. With clear switch-on-and-offable LED lights, a solid plastic car that will withstand bumping into furniture, pretty good battery life, and a sound effect button to boot, this car would be a sure-fire winner if it wasn't just so difficult to steer.

Cute but bit disappointed it doesn't drive straight it goes foward then hand break turns as such still nice but not quite what I though it was. So effectively child does not control where the car drives

Disappointed in this, mainly for my little girl who fortunately, doesn't know any better yet. You'd be forgiven for thinking this thing was driven by the wheels you can see in the picture, or at least two of them, but it isn't. A single wheel, mounted underneath and between the two rear 'wheels' provides the drive, and not very efficiently. One button on the remote makes it go forward, the other spins the wheel through ninety degrees and forces it round in a circle, but only anti-clockwise. If it's on any surface rougher than a snooker table, it mainly does nothing, there being insufficient friction to drive it forward or spin it round. Outside it's pretty useless as well as any roughness in the surface makes the wheel jump and lose traction. The only surface I've found that it works on is a smooth bathroom floor. You can look forward to a lot of time picking this up and pointing it where you want it to go. And it is loud.

This car is plain awesome, my kid just presses the looping/turning button and just watches. He discovered the lights and went nuts over the lights. Good stuff - keeps him buy then I'm happy.

Because of the way that you control the steering on this, it's actually not a very easy car to use. I bought it for a three-year-olds, and he seems to have forgotten about it pretty quickly because it's not that much fun for someone that age. I think it definitely would be better for older kids. It does seem to have a beep and flashing lights which you can control by the remote control which, to be honest, I found quite fun myself!

Because the car only has one central motorised wheel, it seems to get stuck a lot of the time. This means you have to go and rescue it quite often, and that again remove some of the fun aspect from it for a child

It's cheap, so you get what you pay for!
