That's mostly down to his addiction to Minecraft.
The toy is something along the lines of an oversized lego figure (head rotates, arms and legs move), the quality is not as good as the price indicates (in my view fairly low density plastics used here)

There are other packs around, I think on balance they're pretty expensive for what you get. More for display than playing with them.
Steve action figure can hold the axe and well that's about it, you can get swords and other items for him to hold, and there is a block of stone. For some reason this is exciting and fun for kids, still he likes it but I won't be buying more packs of these Minecraft toys. At £3-£4 or so that's about what it's worth.

Some of the more expensive packs are frankly grossly overpriced. But I'd encourage the manufacturer to look again at the quality here, it could certainly be better.
I'll update the review if the "Steve" action figure lasts or falls apart, not exactly the last word in toys. Simple but then kids just like stuff like this.

I bought it as a gift to go with the purchase of the Minecraft game on PC (so my daughter would have something to open as opposed to just the PC voucher for the game) but it's nearly half the cost of the game itself.

Although this is a nicely built plastic character from the game it really isn't a character you would play with so it's more an ornament...and for that purpose I would say it's a little expensive.

Bought this for my 9 year old son for Christmas among an array of expensive presents and it was his favourite gift! It hasn't been out of his sight since. Only gave it 4 stars as Steve's arm fell off as soon as he came out of the packet although that did not put my son off. It went back on but in my opinion is a bit dodgy!

My son absolutely loves Minecraft, he plays the games on IPhone, Ipad, Xbox 360 and One, he loves it so much that I bought a lot of Minecraft figures for Christmas a few years ago. My son still has these figures and the only critism I can speak about is that the limbs have a tendency to fall off and get lost quite a bit.

Arrived on time, but my little boy was disappointed as his arm fell off, so we glued it back on, not the sellers fault Minecraft is just expensive for what it actually is, the 4 stars are for the seller, and the one missing is for the product itself

Great looking action figure set priced the same as any other character figure on market. Just as sturdy and colourful too, a must for Minecraft fanatics' birthdays, only downsize is been limited to one per customer as i have to crazies in the house

Quick dispatch, fast delivery despite it being so close to Xmas. Only downside I paid £10.40 and the following day it was on sale for £9.60 but didn't mind too much after being let down by the entertainer for same item. Definitely recommend! Thanks
