The Mini folding shovel is an ultra lightweight, smart multi-function, super compact tools for your gardening and Outdoor activities.
Handles of the folding shovel fold twice. It is made to be compact in size when folded so it can easily be packed on a camping or beach trip or carried out to the garden. It comes in a convenient carrying pouch with a loop so the shovel may attach to a belt or backpack.

For the rest, yes it is small but it really does do the job, so far used for digging fire pits and for disposing of mine and the dogs pooh in holes around a foot deep, yes I know the P word but hey ho. This digging tool is actually pretty tough unlike the £7 version my friend had (note the word had) it cuts through roots does not bend when leveraged and although the shovel face is more like an XL trowel you can actually move a lot of earth without getting fatigued. I have dug a few pits/holes etc and so far no sign of wear, no bending of the metal and the shovel still tightens up.More importantly the pin has not deformed
Most things in life are compromise and the compromise here is this, this tool is smaller than others and thus digging make take slightly longer although for fire pits you would most likely not really notice. However it is lighter takes up less space and still functions as you would hope. I would never presume to tell you what you should buy and as with all things begin by understanding what you actually need, and how you will use/transport it. For me a heavier shovel would be left behind thus rendering it useless where this is a perfect size and a good weight. I am therefor happy t accept the lower shovel capacity as my compromise.
I hope this helps,
100% recommend purchase.
The only slight criticism is the handle is short so you'll need to be on your knees for any digging out. A modification to the design to allow for perhaps two additional screw in sections to make the handle longer would be perfect. There would be enough room in the pouch to accommodate.
The slight criticism aside this is a great product ( which hopefully I won't have to use ) at a great price. Highly recommended.
I use it to load my dustbin sized charcoal kiln in our woods, small when folded up in my ruck sack. Wanted something like this for ages, instead of having to load up the land rover and open gates etc.
It is an absolutely awesome little tool. It packs down and stores really small which is great for sticking in the bike pannier. It is also easy to put together and hold together well.
The screw/fitment to hold the shovel/pick in place is very robust and no chance of slipping.
The pick element is very strong and great for breaking ground. The shovel itself is strong and sharp. The saw element is great for getting into branches when breaking down firewood.
