Added to that was the endless shouting and ranting by Whalburg's character (when he wasn't forever twanging his elastic band!), and pointless long winded violence scenes that added little to the story; a story, I might add, that was about as far-fetched as one could imagine. Lauren Cohan's character's similar over the top anger "issues" were likewise, pointless, and again, adding absolutely nothing to the plot. Add to this the fact that John Malcovich's huge talent was utterly wasted.
After watching Mile 22 I was left disappointed, yet realising why Amazon had cut the rental rate for this film to only £1.99. I truly wish I hadn't been sucked in by the trailer.
Apparently an autistic/ savaunt who swears a lot and is a bit arrogant in a totally unbelievable and contrived twisting plot.
Just basic bits were really silly. Apprehend a load of bad guys but dont secure them. Hide in the bushes as a sniper with a bright blue hoodie on.
As many films now seem to have Asian money (like the Meg,) it's set in Asia with Asian crew who are of course all martial art experts .
Then it was escape ala Bourne supremacy then double twist at the end.
Watched tol the end just in case I was missing something. Wouldn't watch again nor recommend.
If you have not already seen it , and you like Action , suspense, without the obligatory must chuck in a sex scean just to feel time , this film didn’t need it has so much going on within it ,,
If you rent it then I hope you enjoy my fussy husband and I did .
