Kenneth Branagh is a charming writter. He shows that more than ever in this screenplay, one of the funniest stories you can read. Hamlet, the theatre world, some moving stories and lots of laughs... all these and many more are in this marvellous book about the actors and their wonderful/miserable lives. I hope Branagh would delight us with some other books (and films) like this in the future.

I actually use scripts and screenplays in an EFL course I teach, but the film was very original and re-reading the script is another way of enjoying it. Also, Newmarket doesn't exist anymore apparently, having been bought out by another company that does not appear to be continuing the same catalogue, so this is a rare treasure, too.

The whole film is in there, the whole script! It also includes an introduction by Kenneth Branagh himself, director of the film and about 10 pages of stills taken from the film. A worthwhile purchase! I really recommend it!

The shooting script is an alternative to sub titles and is a handy reminder of any of the sublime moments that one wants to recall when not watching the film. Very useful.

I didn't want to miss a line of the wise-cracking dialogue in the film and, with this script, I don't!

A great help.
