5.0 out of 5 stars Solid read with actionable content 18 Jun. 2015
By Rodney D. Trent - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Compliance is one of the tougher skills to learn for any IT organization because it takes research, education and planning to implement what the business requires based on the corporate political and strategic landscape. And, then there's the technical side. Even when a compliance strategy is developed, understanding how to implement it within the IT framework can be an extremely complex process, even when the technical pieces are already in place.

The Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Compliance Management Cookbook takes care of the technical side by providing detailed steps and read-made recipes for applying compliance strategy across the organization. And, interestingly, by reading through what the book promotes technically, it also serves as a useful guide to help develop a long-term compliance strategy that can fit almost any business.

This is an excellent book showcasing the experience and expertise of the authors and proving that System Center is the technology linchpin for building a sound compliance strategy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Job and good reading 21 Jun. 2015

Format: Paperback
There is always a compliance gap when implementing Microsoft technologies in enterprise and that is why I loved this book. The book is simple yet provide depth needed to implement enterprise strategy and meeting Administration & Enforcement requirements. I liked how the book made use of existing MS products in most companies like SCCM, SCM and SCSM to build prefect combination to create Centralized security baseline management. The book provides needed baseline portfolio, customization capabilities, and security knowledge with flexibility to accelerate your organization’s ability to efficiently manage the security and compliance process for the most widely used Microsoft technologies. Good job Andreas Baumgarten and the rest of the team
