With its simple folding system, telescopic handle bar and comfortable hand-grips, it is a comfortable scooter suitable for the school run or as a means of sustainable transportation. The two way kickstand can be kicked forward or back when you are ready to ride. The kickstand can be flicked back easily when resting to provide a stand for parking the scooter. This classic scooter has been engineered in lightweight aluminium making it strong and robust whilst being easy to ride and carry. I had been looking for a scooter like this for a while, many people think that scooters are just for children, but forget that!!! I have seen a few adults riding scooters like this one, and I'm one of them! You cannot imagine how much easier this thing can make your life!!!!!! This scooter is definitely designed for adults (as well as for children), it is big and high enough, it can support up to 100kgs (I think), it goes quite fast and it is very easy to fold, which is fantastic. I use it to go to work, I live in London and I try to avoid taking the tube when it's the rush hour, so I wanted something that would allow me to get to work quickly. The scooter is great. You can fold it and leave it at your office/university or wherever you go. It usually includes a strap, so if you need to walk you can carry it this way.
I think there are other good scooters for adults (micro sprite, micro bullet..) which are lighter and cheaper. I haven't tried them so I can't say much, but I suppose they'll be good too. The good thing about the Micro Flex is how well it takes the bumps, it's amazing, and for a city where the floor is never flat, that's a big advantage.
Anyway, I recommend it, it's great for commuting and for children to have fun.
(By the way, the wheels are not blue as they seem to be in the picture but the rest is exactly the same)

I bought this to be able to keep up with my 4 year old on her micro scooter or bicycle. It is great fun and seems durable. Not sure what my neighbours think of a 42 year old woman on a scooter!

A robust, well made and stylish looking scooter, ideal for nipping around town and getting 10 year old legs working on outings that would otherwise draw howls of protest.

I first tried a Micro Flex 10 years ago when my brother went out and bought one. At the time, we'd been quite happily using some very cheap scooters and so couldn't really vision how much better it could be, but boy were we wrong!

The larger wheels and flex deck bring a new level of speed and comfort. This combined with very robust and clever design has led to a scooter that is really a cut above the others,

Eventually we ended up using the scooter less and less over the years until it ended up being stored in our garage. We recently dug it out and even though it's 10 years old, it looks mint. The only thing that had damaged was one of the wheels, turned brittle by a long time in the cold. This was quickly replaced (as you can purchase Micro spares easily), and we started using it a lot more again.

I then decided to purchase one for myself and was pleased to find the same quality, but with a few subtle adjustments, showing how they're still improving the design. Firstly the handlebar grips are now made of soft foam, whereas the older version had rubber handlebar grips similar to that of BMX. Although we never had issue with the old grips, the newer padded foam has added further comfort through the hands. The other new addition is that there's now two release buttons to fold the scooter down. Although we never had a single issue with a single button, it's nice to know they've continued to improve the safety of the scooter.

Since purchasing mine, we've been going on longer runs and really pushing what we can do in terms of speed and distance. Our currently route is just over 14 miles along the coast, although we're looking to improve this a lot further.

Bought one of these for my 7 year old for Christmas, because it can take my weight I thought it would be solidly built. A month down the line and it is holding up well to his abuse and takes my 92kgs, but the handle shaft has a lot of flex at full extension so if you are buying for a tall adult, look elsewhere. The only other negative is that the carrying strap broke on about its third use, but that does not affect the scooter. My nephew has a micro scooter with sparks and I am glad that I went for this one; the wheels are bigger so it goes over small stones and off road without throwing him off the front, it is more robust and it is a bit faster. Not for younger boys as it is too heavy (but little more than the usual scooters). My 3 year old is getting on well with the 3 wheel micro.

Hope this helps.
