Born in Yorkshire in 1973, Michael Lambert studied chemistry at Leeds University where he graduated in 1995. After working in software sales he became a programmer, a career that sparked a life-long fascination with secrets and intricate narratives.
Lambert is now a part time blacksmith and full time whisky-lover. The Elizabethan spy thriller "Harvest of Phantoms" is his first novel. He lives on the Yorkshire moors with his border collie Jess, and divides his time between writing and ironmongery.
