Michael K Chapman was born in Cornwall, UK but as a young boy went to school in London and then in Somerset. Since leaving school, Michael has had many professions, some he enjoyed and some where he actually knew what he was doing!
Michael is a musician and singer, though some would disagree. Michael spent many years teaching music and several delightful years teaching adults with learning difficulties, a period of his life that he looks back on fondly.
In 2012 Michael published his first book entitled, A Fly on the Ward. Michael has always suffered from health problems and so has a vast experience of being a hospital patient. This book describes some of the humorous events and stories he witnessed over the years.
Later in 2012 he published a second book entitled, Humanology. Michael had researched and prepared the contents of this book for some time but delayed publishing until after A Fly on the Ward.
Humanology is a light compilation of observations based on our modern lives, examining the behaviour and misbehaviour of the twenty first centaury human, us!
Michael has since written several other books, including A Nautical Novice which entails humorous tales of an inexperienced sailor, two children's books and his new release in 2017 is a science fiction novel entitled, Animan.
