Always Listen To Your Angels...
The Author John Townsend sets a good strong plot, which grabs the reader's interest; also the books title `The Messager' creates an atmosphere by itself. He gathers an atmosphere by slowly building up the suspense with which leave you, on the edge of your chair...He has a brilliant imagination but sometimes he lets the book down.
Townsend also leaves clues though out the book. This leaves the reader, unravelling the plot, which readers will either find interesting or disappointing.
This Book Includes Characters with a range of personalities for example Angela is a caring teenage girl, Chris is a typical boy with only interest for the ladies and his grandmother seems very weary and wise. Townsend Uses A Wide range a personalities which gives the book more atmosphere.
If your interested in mystery then this is the book for you, filled will cliff hangers and mystery twists with will leave you hungry for more. It's is a brilliant book for teenager with average reading skills or maybe you just fancy a easy read, but I wouldn't recommend it for adults or more advanced readers who might be looking for a challenging read.
I found this book interesting, adventurous, but it's not up to my normal standard and I lost interest in the end because it was just confusing and lost the suspense and atmosphere.I'd Would Rate This Book as Maybe 3 star because the good and bad points balance it out.
