I am an author, poet and a not for profit small press poetry publisher. I live in Lavenham in Suffolk, England and write mostly about nature, the seasons and country life - though not exclusively. I have been writing for some forty five years and have published eight works of prose and ten collections of poetry. I have also published 26 collections of poetry for other poets. My work has been featured on both local and national radio, has been published in many magazines, newspapers and periodicals, and I have won, been runner up, and highly commended in a number of middle range poetry competitions. I have adjudicated poetry competitions for both adults and children and give regular talks and readings on both my poetry and prose. I am seventy years of age and spend as much time as possible in the countryside, either fishing or studying the flora and fauna. My major concerns at the moment are to do with the despoliation of the natural environment and I support magazines and organisations with likeminded concerns. From my study I look out over the farmland and Lavenham woods. By day I often watch fallow deer foraging on the edge of the wood and at night I drift off to sleep with the sound of tawny owls as my midnight lullaby.
