The Marx brothers are probably the greatest comic team who have ever existed.
Groucho stayed around the longest as a performer. In this documentary he was given very wooden
lines and his performance is klunky. It's hard to tell if it's the documentary itself or Groucho
himself who doesn't live up to snuff here; but the result is a shame.
Unfortunately I think it'd be better if this was "lost Marx".

We love the DVD, lots of great old footage of auto related interest, and Groucho Marx does a great job. However, I ordered this from Amazon as a "new" product, and we recieved a used, former library product. What a disappointment. If I had wanted a used product I wouldn't have ordered from Amazon!!!

And there is no way in the system to complain. Just "return", but if they don't have a new product to replace it with, I would rather have this than nothing.

(And this was from Amazon itself, complete with Super Saver Shipping, etc. Not a different company selling through Amazon.)

While a little corny sometimes but like today when looking backward at Grandpa's days they make light of it. This and the others in the TV series is what set the stage for just about all documentaries. Groucho is sometimes a little flip, but very entertaining and a must see for aspiring documentary producers.
