M SelectTM FRESH technology Take on the weather and look good while doing it, with Merrell's Decora Minuet Waterproof Women's Walking Shoes. Constructed from a combination of Full Grain and Pig Suede Leather upper, which acts as a Waterproof shielding due too its External M-Select DRY Technology. This keeps your feet dry when on the move by selecting just the right type of waterproof construction and materials, sealing out water and letting perspiration escape for optimal performance. The Boot also engages the wearer with M Select WARM, an insulation that reflects and retains body heat through micro-spaces. This traps the hot air within its internal environment to deliver efficient warmth without bulk. It also preps the mesh to intake airflow, keeping the interior ventilated and allowing your foot to breath. Keeping to the inner benefits, the Decora Boot utilises M SelectTM FRESH technology, which naturally prevents odour with friendly microbes that break down perspiration on contact with natural enzymes. I want to think that I got a faulty pair because the zip started giving in just after less than a year of wearing these boots. I have contacted Merrell directly to complain about these boots but I received no answer. Shame, I would have expected better costumer service from them.
Buy if you want to change boots every couple of years. Do not buy if you are expecting a long lasting, quality pair of boots that you are expecting to wear for many years.
These boots are warm dry and comfortable. They accommodate broad feet and a slim foot. They have good support and although I haven't needed it yet they have a gripper sole for snow and ice.
These are perfect and nice looking for snow boots, as unlike the others they are not too clumpy and the sole has good grip which will be needed in ice and snow. Have worn a couple of times now and they are really warm and snug.
Agree with others about the size. I ordered a 7, which is a little spacious. Normally I am a 7 1/2 but I followed the reviewers to go down a size. With thick socks, they are fine though.
