Some of the recipes take a while to finish (on day 4 of 6 for the candied peel at the moment!) but the end results have always been good.
The book is beautifully laid out with stunning photographs and stylish illustrations. So much so that you get a real feel of "A La Mère de Famille". The recipes are laid out in an easy to follow manner, looking forward to baking and making very soon.
However this is a superb book for those who like confectionery etc.
An essential part of anyone's cookbook library.
