Vince Flynn has created a credible and likeable Anti Hero in Mitch Rapp who walks alongside Jack Reacher. In their world justice and revenge are served up to the bad guys without remorse.
As usual this is a complex and well conceived plot which marches purposefully to its conclusion thanks to Mitch Rapp and his supportive boss. Long may they continue to keep America safe.

Sharp characters again and several plot surprises rather than outright twists. The wife is hardly on the book and it is no bad thing for that. Now for tomorrow's book.....

In terms of plot, pace, and suspense, this book rates with the very best I’ve ever read - and I don’t just mean Mitch Rapp sagas. It’s a classic in terms of analysing the actions of those who want to apply the rules of civilised society to terrorists who despise them, and of those who just want to catch and kill the terrorists. The bottom line in this story is the threat of a planned atrocity that will kill many innocent civilians on a predetermined date unless it can be prevented. The dilemma is how to get the information needed to be able to identify and thwart the threat. There isn’t time to play by the rules, but those who want to are interfering with the actions of those trying to eliminate it. A real roller coaster ride awaits the reader with no guarantee of a successful outcome.

As with all his books, once you start reading you will find it very difficult to put down. I have spent many a late night/early morning reading these great books. Have got through at least seven books, some read out of order, but I was able to follow the storylines with no problem . Will start from the first book and can't wait to do so. Great read

Superb book, Vince Flynn keeps you in suspense for the whole book so sad he is no longer with us. The trouble is you can believe politicians and civil servants do work in the way he describes. The research that must have been completed to produce these books is amazing; I even Goggle different incidents that are mentioned in the storylines to see how accurate they are, so far one hundred per cent correct. I now have every book in the series and am working my way through them in order.
