HASH(0x96540618) out of 5 stars Great Cymbal, Shipping took a while 13 Jan. 2011

It's a good cymbal for the price, sounds good, but it's not as loud as I'd have liked it to have been. That said, It feels sturdy, very responsive and it doesn't ring very much after a full force hit. I play a lot of metal, so I've got a Zildjian Oriental 18" as well, and this Cymbal keeps up with it amazingly. But keep in mind, it's not as loud as you probably think it'd be. Other than that, it's a great buy.

HASH(0x96540840) out of 5 stars broken at first practice 31 Jan. 2012

this cymbal was bent in 20 different directions halfway into my first practice with it. i am in no way hitting it too hard and it just cant keep up. if you've got someone just starting out and you want to get them a cheap little toy cymbal, then this might be good for you.

HASH(0x96540ba0) out of 5 stars Good for any level, perfect for those on a budget 28 Feb. 2015

Overall rating of the cymbal quality and sound I would have to give it a 4 star, but I HAVE TO rate this one 5 for the insane price. Awesome cymbal for the price. Feels a little more flexible, thinner than higher end cymbals which I guess means I'm expecting it to crack eventually, but based off of most of the reviews, it looks like it should last a good while while I save for that zildjian 18" oriental China. It is I little quiet, but I kind of like that. You can hit it hard and it will hiss and die fast.. I honestly don't like a lot of sustainment in my Chinas, so that's just a plus for my preference. I highly recommend this cymbal for anyone.. if nothing else, this will be a nice accent to your kit, no matter how high end a drummer. Also came 5 days earlier than expected. Enjoy

HASH(0x9653df6c) out of 5 stars Meinl 14 Inch HCS China 11 Oct. 2012

I bought this cymbal not expecting a whole lot from it , but it did what i needed it to do and that was filling the gap between my 12" Sabian HH splash and my Sabian 16" AAX medium crash. Worked out great and for the price i paid i was willing to take a chance. It was worth every penney. Tom S.
