You know what people say, about judging books by there covers and how wrong that is...well that is definately not true!! The first time that I bought a book by Karen McCombie was because I liked the cover and I was every bit right to buy the book because Karen's books are TOTALLY BRILLIANT! This book is all about Rachel (and her gang) who still manage to make Stella feel left out in her new home town, Portbay. But then strange and mysterious stuff starts to happen to Rachel and Stella feels kind of sorry for her but she doesn't know whether she should help her or not...read on to find the answer!!!

On the surface,Rachel seems to have it all.She is pretty, popular and the leader of her clique of friends. But she seems to get off on being mean to people who don't fit in like Stella. So when personal problems prove Rachel's clique are fairweather friends, can Stella put aside her dislike of Rachel's behaviour to help, and should she do so or risked being rebuffed ?
Circumstances mean that you gradually find yourself warming to Rachel, although at first she seemed an unsympathetic character. But there is hope for her.....
