So I was curious to check this book out. I didn't know eating a Mediterranean Diet could help you lose weight and live longer! Good enough reason to try it and this book has some really good meal ideas with good info about each food item. I plan to try it for the next six weeks and see how I feel.

I read this book in one sitting. It's short and quick to read. The recipes sound really good and easy to make. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in trying a Mediterranean diet.

Although this "book" is truly a short read, it contains very good information and tips. There are a few recipes included which are easy to follow. This book, in my opinion, does not give an over abundance of information regarding the pros and cons of eating the Mediterranean way. I would have liked to have more explanation of certain facts such as eating "wild-caught" fish, perhaps listing a few examples of such fish, more explanation of cooking with olives, and other condiments as well as seeing more variety of menus, recipes and the pros and cons of using fresh vs. dried herbs and spices. However, overall this is an informative beginning to understanding the Mediterranean diet; but one would need to investigate other books and information in order to gain success in trying to work with this method of dieting.
