The book gives you plenty of background on the roots of the Mediterranean diet and how it is considered one of the most healthiest cuisines in the world. It has research information which also backs this up. As with anything we eat we also need to be mindful of keeping fit though some level of exercise especially if you are looking to lose weight.
There is a large selection of recipes to also try out which are easy to follow, including the raw foods which are included in the recipes.
Definitely a book to have if you want to eat well and eat healthy!
