The book covers the meanings of results and abbreviations in varying aspects of medical care such as blood ranges, biochemistry, respiratory ranges, renal ranges and nutritional assessments.
Overall very happy with this book and would recommend this for other student nurses. Small Book with loads of information.
I often found there were abbreviations on the handover sheets that I wasn't 100% sure of but felt silly asking about. This book has allowed me to check what they mean and I have on more than one occasion now been able to explain something to a more senior colleague thanks to this book.
The section on normal ranges is useful for when completing patient observations and checking if they outside the norm.
You'll soon find that you memorize the ranges you use the most.
as a student nurse this book is quick and easy to use
fits neatly into uniform pocket and is easily wiped clean
would and have recommend to fellow students

Much smaller than expected. I was expecting an A5 type book for the price.
Small writing and not many pages, but ideal for all placements and for keeping in my pocket :)
