With this pump you will most likely have good days and bad days. The Good days are when you pump a good 5oz with ease and feel successful, proud and productive. The bad days are when you pump for what seems like hours and produce 0.25oz. Not really the pumps fault i know. The bad points - the ridiculous cow milking noise it makes vibrates through your brain and can instigate suicidal thoughts. If like me you are exclusively pumping this noise during the early hours when you are sleep deprived, coupled with the noise of a snoring husband can push you over the edge! Although i believe most pumps make a smiliar noise! I am baffled why they have produced it in a pastel yellow colour. 0nly a certain type of person chooses yellow as their favourite colour, I truly believe a purple pump or the odd flower stencil would lift my morale a  little and brighten these long, lonely nights of pumping. I might stick some glittery stickers on it!  Of course this does not effect the use!Another bad point is the sensation of the vacuum which sometimes feels like tiny mosquito bites on my already bleeding nipples! Although again i do not think this is isolated to just this pump.  A serious flaw in the pump is how easy it is to spill!!!  When you have managed to ignore the noise (and the colour of it) to put in a good session of pumping and  you go to 'dismount' when finished an ounce or two can spill out the gap at the back by the bottom of the membrane!!!! Watching the loss of this milk is heartbreaking and can lead to violence toward the pump, which to be honest is quite robust as it is still working despite being thrown against the wall quite a few times. There is quite a lot of parts to connect / disconnect and clean!
Top tips if buying this pump:
- purchase one of those madonna like bras that holds the funnels in place while u pump. Otherwise you will have no hands free for a good 40mins. Holding the pumps in place adds to the annoyance of pumping and also increases the risk of spillages, holding them does make you feel more like a cow too!
- have a cloth to hand for excess milk
- leave the funnels in place for a few minutes after you stop pumping to collect the last drips of milk.
- You defo need to purchase additional storage bottles.

The pump itself is ok, I have however fallen out with it and moved on to a Hakka which seems to have a better friendship with my poorly nipples!

I was really excited about this pump after reading the reviews on the which website but quickly got disappointed. On the first day, I spilt half of the milk out of one bottle as they're not leak proof and you have to keep them upright at all times. The tubes are really fiddly and the nipple shields are not standard size. I guess they make them too small so that you spend an extra £20 or so on the ones that fit you. After sterilising the pump once or twice, it lost suction so had to return it and didn't bother with a replacement. Now I'm using the tommee tippee pump and I'm quite pleased with it. It's a quater of the price, way more comfortable to hold, more leak proof and doesn't make my nipples sore as the shields are much bigger.

Pump works very well, it's quiet and having the double pump is a real time saver.

My first pump stopped sucking after only a few days and the replacement also stopped working after 1 day. Not impressed and all the parts are too fiddly.

Brilliant machine when it worked but kept losing suction, after two returns I just got my money back.

Good for purpose. Works a treat. Definitely better used with pump bra. Use an old sports bra and cut out the nipples. Does the same job and saves you money.

I've had two of these and whilst they worked really well in the beginning, both lost suction after around 8 weeks of using 3/4 times a day. Replacing the valve may help but after spending £200 in the first instance, I'm not willing to spend another £40 on replacements after so little time.

Absolute essential - pricy but worth the money as has lots of different settings from gentle to higher suction. A life saver if having problems with baby latching and for use in between feeds for milk storage.
