Only drawback I found was that the connection to the camera can be a little sticky to remove and occasional I have to turn the camera of and on again to get it to recognize the remote.
Definitely recommend, even bought a second one for my girlfriend as she was always borrowing mine.
I have used mine on a Canon 7D, it works fine.
4 Modes: Long exposure, Interval shooting, Self timer, and Number of frames.
Each mode can be used in conjunction with another mode. (eg. use self timer and long exposure for ultra steady shots. Or use interval shooting and number of frames, to shoot say 5 frames on a 20 min delay...)
It also has a big shutter button, that can be locked down for rapid shooting.
My only quibble it it takes a small watch type battery, I would have preferred a more available battery type like AA or AAA. And there is no Off button... which is odd. But according to the manual the battery lasts 3 years. We shall see! Also it is a bit light and 'plasticky' compared to the canon version, but at this price what do you expect.
Using it with Canon EOS 5 D mkIII
I've been using it fairly regularly shooting time lapses and have found two main problems.
1: there is no off switch or button. This means that you have to remove the batteries in order to switch it off or save the batteries. By removing the batteries it also resets the remote and you have to reprogram it. This means manually dialing the intervals which is a bit of a pain and time consuming!
2: It looks the part but is super lightweight and feels a bit cheap.
Apart from that, it's totally worth it!
