This is the third book Ruth Cardello's The Andrades series

Meet the ever panty-dropping Max Andrade. Max is rich and powerful, extremely bold and always unapologetic. Max is a man who doesn’t hear the word no or want to hear that two letter word that is until he meets the beautiful Tara. In Max's obsession to have Tara. Max’ll offer Tara anything she wants but the one thing he won't offer is his heart.

Beautiful Tara Holmes. Tara is very outspoken, very hardworking, definitely levelheaded. Tara makes her living by exposing unfaithful partners or spouses. Tara definitely doesn’t believe in love, especially not with a man like Max who sees her as nothing more than a huge challenge.

When Madison D’Argenson (Max's cousin) hires Tara to uncover the horrid truth about their Aunt Patrice. Tara is pulled into the centre of Max’s world.

How far would you go to help a man like Max who doesn’t want the help?
How long would you give yourself over to the pleasure of Max's touch. If you knew and found out it would end as soon as Max discovered the lies Tara has been hiding?

I love Ruth Cardello i so need more than 5*s

Good read on all the andrades books, and the lives of the brothers. This one is about Max and Tara and how their lives pan put. Max is usually a man that likes the ladies only usually for one night - Tara somehow manages to get further with him.

This book is fanfreakingtastic. From the first page to the last you're wrapped up in the yummy deliciousness that is Maxwell Andrade, a man who knows what he wants and what he wants is Tara Holmes. Tara is a women who was hired by his cousin Maddy to uncover secrets that she (Maddy) believes will bring Max and his brothers closer together. I'm a big believer in being careful what you wish for because it might just destroy your family also. Tara and Max chemistry is off the charts HOT and the witty banter that these two display is downright comical. Once again Ruth has hit it out of the ballpark with a great story, wonderfully flawed characters and hilarious humor that transports you right into the book and wishing that you was there. For me this book answered some questions but definitely kept me intrigued and anxiously anticipating the next Andrades book. Kudos Ruth for another winner!!!!

In Come Away with Me, that journey to Isola Santos where all four of the brothers made a truce made me see Max as a ray of sunshine between the four of them. Maybe it was because he always tried so hard to break the tension with his carefree attitude. In home to me, I've seen him as someone who seems to be running away from something. Like when things gets tense his immediate reaction was to check where the exits are and which one of them would be his easiest escape. In the start of this book, I felt lonely on how he had become, he was detached, cold and he seemed to have lost all his faith in humanity. It was both heartbreaking and annoying. Heart breaking because it was such a sad way to live a life. Annoyed because I believed he was better than that and the way he was thinking had me disappointed... So disappointed that if I could, I would get inside the book and slap him awake.

Then came Tara... and things started to change.

Tara was almost just like him, she have lost her faith in men. The difference though was that she can still see love exist when it is shown in front of her and believe that not everyone is the same. I like Tara's character, the way she tried to stick to her beliefs and said no to Maddie in continuing what she asked her to do - which is we all know, denying Maddie what she wants ain't easy, the way she braved walking away from Max when there was nothing else she could do.

As I read along, I love how Max slowly turned back to the man I believe him to be. Which was a great relief because his stubbornness is something that is hard to contend with. I like how each of the brothers have slowly learned to reach out. I guess that made it true that love can heal wounds. The tension building up as I go reading through the story made me anxious.

Ruth Cardello, has done it again, written a book that I could not read fast enough and yet, did not want it to end! The third book in the The Andrades, is the story of Maxwell Andrade, the youngest of the clan, yet one of the most cynical. Max is handsome, rich, sexy, and a gambler, who doesn't mind taking risks. Like his cousin, Maddy, he doesn't know the meaning of the word "no" and he also believes that staying away from his family is the answer to all their problems. Gio, Nick, and Luke are determined to get Max to come to Gio's wedding, and will do whatever it takes to get him there. Maddy, on the other hand wants to find out the secret to why her cousins don't get along, so she hires a private detective to find out. Tara Holmes, is beautiful, sexy, and single for a reason, she doesn't trust men since her job, is to find cheating husbands and get photographic evidence on them. Once Ruth puts these two non-trusting souls together in the same room, the fireworks are sure to start. And start they did, loved so many of the scenes between these two, especially the fact that Tara keeps getting overheard, when she doesn't want to.
This book will make you laugh out loud, shed a few tears, and want to strangle, Patrice, the mother of the Andrade hunks. There is one Andrade son left, his name is Luke, and he always tries to see the best in people. I am looking forward to his story, and to meet the real Luke, I feel like there is a lot more to the man than Ruth Cardello has told us so far. If you love to read a romance with a bit of heat, family, friends, fun and one that will keep you flipping pages, then this book is for you. If you have not read any of Ruth Cardello's books, you are really missing out!! Loved it.
