The Meta Model was the first model that led to NLP, it is the skeleton that the rest of the NLP Model hangs around. It is an incredibility powerful tool for consultants, trainers, coaches and therapists to radically improve their ability to create change in their clients.
However, there have been very few attempts to clarify the Meta Model or frame it in a more useful and comprehensible manner, and many NLP books and trainings regurgitate the same old stuff from outdated and outmoded source material.
The Meta Model Demystified thoroughly updates the language patterns and explains how to use the Meta Model to create seemingly magical change simply and easily.
This expanded and completely revised 2nd edition includes:
• The key concepts that lead to the development of the Meta Model.
• A totally reconfigured explanation of the classic language patterns.
• Examples of using the Meta Model in various contexts.
• Sample questions.
• Hints and tips to master the Meta Model.
PLEASE NOTE: This book assumes a basic and general understanding of Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP)

A Note From The Author: “In the interests of transparency and honesty, I have to mention before I begin that I am an NLP trainer who runs regular NLP training courses. I am a member of the Society of NLP and the Association of NLP.
However this ebook is not a thinly veiled attempt to try and convince you that the courses I offer are better than everyone else. I have made every effort to remain as unbiased as possible and have drawn on my years of experience in the NLP field.
I have made it available on Kindle not to make myself bundles of cash, but to get it out to as wide a readership as possible. I really hope you find it useful and I wish you all the best on your journey into NLP.”
I usually see them at airports, where you have been up at an ungodly hour to catch your flight, you are tired, disorientated and grumpy, you have been lugging your luggage around, you have been queuing up, waiting your turn, getting bored and frustrated and sick of being battered, bumped into and treated like a total idiot.
Then they turn up. The flaneur. They casually swan in with the smallest luggage you have ever seen (although, when you see them later on the holiday, they always seem to have the perfect outfit for the occasion), calm and unflustered, they are well dressed, relaxed and look damn good. They are smiling happily and are annoyingly polite. Somehow they end up ahead of you in the queue, they seem to get the best (or only) seats left in the departure lounge (or you see them sauntering to the private lounge and charm their way in), the fastest queue and, at the gate, you notice they have been upgraded! They take this with the calm polite modesty and remain pleasant to the end. They move with grace and elegance, all their movements are calm, measured and seemingly frustratingly slow, yet they seem to get everywhere before you, who have been rushing and flapping...
Don’t you just hate them!
Well, that person is an flaneur of life. And you can be like that too! Anyone is capable of being a flaneur of life; it just takes a bit of practice, patience and following the advice in this pocket guide.
You will learn how to be:
• Calm and collected.
• Mindful and aware.
• Able to chat to anyone about anything.
• Unburdened (with thoughts, actions and possession!).
• Unhurried and unflustered.
• Well dressed (not fashionable, but stylish).
• Able to carry yourself with grace and elegance. • With slow deliberate movements.
• Unflustered and unhurried.
Nested loops and “unconscious instillation” have grown to almost an mythical status in NLP but in reality are are very simple and exceptionally powerful way of designing powerful and impactful training courses and one-to-one sessions.
For the first time in print, this book will give you a clear and concise explanation of how to design and utilise Nested Loops in a variety of contexts for different outcomes.
PLEASE NOTE: This book assumes a basic and general understanding of NLP.
Mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool of personal change. What seems a deceptively simple process has the potential to undo unwanted thoughts and behaviours and generate alternative ways of acting and thinking.
Mindfulness is traditionally a spiritual or religious process, but has been explored and studied by psychologist since the 1970’s and has been formalised into a number of therapeutic applications that have been shown to work with issues such as stress reduction, anxiety and depression and chronic pain.
This is a complete beginners guide and I have done my best to cover every aspect of the meditation process, simply and without fluff or padding. Including:
* Breathing, postural and relaxation exercise.
* How to sit in meditation to get the most benefit.
* Warm up exercises.
* The equipment that you need.
* A simple (yet very powerful) mindfulness meditation.
* How to incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life.
There is over 30 years of scientific evidence (and over 2500 years of anecdotal evidence!) that suggests that a simple practice of mindfulness meditation can:
* Slow the effects of ageing on the brain (it makes your brain “denser”!).
* Create razor sharp concentration
* Reduce stress and stress related illnesses and effects.
* Banish depression and the stranglehold of negative emotions
* Act more appropriately, spontaneously, in any situation (and feel more confident)
* Let go of cravings and attachments.
* Live more in the moment, not dwelling on the past or focusing on the future.
* Increase your sense of well being.
I firmly believe that a daily meditation routine is one of the best ways to improve your health and well being.
