Format: Paperback
If you are an architecture student or studying building or construction then this book will be relevant to you. It covers the range of standard and innovative building materials currently available and in use throughout the industry.
The book is divided into eighteen chapters with clear diagrams and colour pictures showing the appropriate use of the materials. I found this an excellent reference for my studies, its written in plain English, and it would also be of great use if you were planning a self-build project.

This book was bought to accompany another similar book but this one is much more relevant, upto date and the references are more realistic. Bought it second hand but as far as I can see the condition is as good as new.

I'm doing a degree and this book was on the recommended list so that indicates its a good book, additionally the illustrations and pictures are great.

Highly readable.
