"The Tender Years" is a very good book. I have not fineshed it yet, but I think it is very good. My mother read it and thought I might like it.

HASH(0x95de80cc) out of 5 stars A wonderful story about friendships 7 Nov. 1998

Format: Hardcover
The Matchmakers is a wonderful book in classic Janette Oke style. It is short enough to finish in an evening, which you will want to do once you start reading! The last chapter will leave a smile on your face and satisfaction in your heart!

Format: Paperback
This is a wonderful book. It is sweet and funny, especially the last chapter. You will find youself smiling over it. Two children try to get their elderly parents together. In the end, the results are delightful, though much different than they imagined. All in all, it is a wonderful book.

Janette Oke is back. This book is one of the sweetest, poignant stories I've read in a while. It shows the ironies of life in a good light. A story that brings back tender moments, and the surprise of love just happening. A must read! Two thumbs up!

A clean, enjoyable story line with a fun twist. I personally enjoy a light romance with family emphasis. This clearly was the focus of this book. Written cleverly, characters are believable and consistent.
HASH(0x95dee888) out of 5 stars Warm, Homey 20 Aug. 2008
By Andrea - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Cynthia and Judith are best friends. They meet for coffee and a danish each Saturday morning at the Koffee Kup.

Cynthia is concerned about her father since her mother died. She thinks he needs to find someone. She and Judith decide not to set him up, but to subtly make things convenient for him and a nice widow.

This book is a nice, warm Christian Fiction with a touch of Romance. I like the book because it has a warm, family, Christian atmosphere. There are encouraging things in this book. I also enjoy reading about warm relationships; this book is centered a lot around relationships.

I also love the book because it reminds us that God is in control and has the Master Plan.

There was a nice twist at the end.
