I have just finished this story, have read all previous ones and just bought Live and let die (Ian's story).
The books are brilliant, well written, lots of characters being introduced without being overwhelmed with them.
I loved all the stories and this one is even better. I cried with these two, they were perfectly matched and it took a long time for them to get their HEA.
Still can't decide which character I like best as I love them all equally (I'm talking about the men of course).
Happy reading and I can't wait to start Ian's story.

Love, love, love these books - there just are not enough of them!! I will be waiting with baited breath for Ian's story to appear. This author does not use the same old format (boy meets girl, overcomes set backs and finally gets girl scenario) The storylines are strong and hook you in pretty much from the start, the characters are well developed and not sickly sweet. There are just enough 'loose ends' to the story line to keep you waiting for the next installment and the new characters, which are introduced in each book, give tantilising insights of what may be to come. Well worth a read!

Loved it, need more. This group, this family keeps expanding with wives, babies and newbies.

I just had to keep turning the pages, my heart going out to Eve and Alex. The OMG he knows had me in suspense but it wasn't him...it was him!!!

Awesome read.

Absolutely brilliant writing by Lexi again,
I don't know how she makes all the books so different.
With the same basic plot line of good fighting evil with a good sprinkling of BDSM sex you would thing all the stories would be so similar. Not the case.
If you like a good suspense novel with some exceptionally hot men and a little BDSM you'll love this series.
Recommend they are read in order. Although it's not essential.

I love the Bond like titles of this series of books. Very appropriate given the work these guys do!

The Alex and Eve story has been a long time coming, but then I feel that about all Ms Blake's books. The story was worth waiting for, the whole plot believeable and the baddie's identity unexpected. A thoroughly great read.

Like the other reviewers I cannot wait for Ian's book and have my fingers firmly crossed that he gets a well deserved (IMO)happy ever after.

Alex McKay and Eve St James work for McKay/Taggart Security Services, everyone bar the profiler is ex special forces. They are divorced and all we know about their marriage from previous books is that an op went wrong causing Eve to get hurt and their marriage to crumble. Now, Michael Evans is back, he is the man who Alex was chasing when he was FBI and who kidnapped and tortured Eve. Alex has never stopped loving Eve and wants to get her back. The information on Evans is passed to Alex by Kirsten, a journalist who's been working undercover.
The more we learn about Kristen the more mysterious she gets. She is an expert hacker, managing to get into the FBI database and she knows how to defend herself and fight. The men notice the ways she carries herself and they think she has training but she insists she has never worked for any law enforcement agency. It's her motivations for her actions that makes them suspicious, why has she brought the team the information and why is she helping? She is kick ass, I loved her. She walks into the apartment after a fight and calmly mentioned there's a body in her boot she needs to dispose of.
The team obviously care for each other a great deal. Ian is at the top, brusk and to the point but can be fatherly in his own way, steering them in the direction they need to go. They may fight between themselves but when it comes down to it they will be there to help each other. The characters have become more life like as the series continues and I have grown more fond of them.
There is a great scene in a kitchen, it reads like an action story. After what appears to be an innocent conversation between Sean and Alex but where they are actually sharing intel, Sean's knife skills are put to work. The knife fight is just wow, amazing.
