About the Author
SOPHIE LONG was one of the few embroiderers to have the honour of working on the much-publicized wedding dress of Kate Middleton, for her marriage to Prince William. Since graduating with a distinction from the Royal School of Needlework, Sophie has worked as a freelance hand embroiderer and teacher.
