OK, on the packaging and advert, rather than the tin!

This is a superb, and hefty tin that makes decently size mini appetisers and cakes.
I've just made 72 mini muffins, and my only complaint is that I could have done with 3 trays, rather than baking them in 3 separate batches.

The cake mixture I used would normally fill 18 standard size muffin tins or a two-layer 8"/20cm cake, and I could have easily made 84 mini muffins using of this tin (but chose to make some standard ones with my remaining mix).
Each mould takes about a teaspoon of mixture (with average rising agent). I would advocate picking a slightly dense recipe, reducing the temperature by 10-20 degrees. My muffins cooked perfectly in 13 mins at 160 degrees.

I did spray the tin using Wilton Bake Easy Non Stick Spray for ease, but you could just as easily use a little oil (Fry LightSunflower Oil Spray is good) and a light dusting of flour, though after a few uses I think this will need very little preparation.
It washes up really well, with nothing more required than hot water and a brush or sponge, so although it may be dishwasher proof, I'm opting to hand wash it to prolong the non-stick coating.

I really love this product and have used it a lot. I've also used the wooden tool in mini muffin tins to give a slightly larger tart shell. For this tart pan you need about 8 - 10G of pastry for each tart (weigh the pastry if you want them all to be the same size). At Christmas I used it for making mini mince pies, savoury tartlets, canape shells and also bread croustades which I filled just before serving with a mixture of salmon and cream cheese. I could go on ..................!

I am not a good cook let alone a baker but after buying this tart pan with the dobber I think my skills have some what improved! The tray is brilliant quality it is slightly heavier than the other bakeware tins I have. When I put my pastry in the tin to make my mini tarts it wasnt until I had cooked them for about 8 miutes that I though oppps I forgot to pop oil in each hole! I thought this was going to be a disaster but when they were cooked they all popped out perfectly and had cooked evenly all the way through. There were no tarts or mixture stuck to the tray. I have made roughly 20-30 batches with this tray now and it still looks brand new there are no scratches or burn marks. The handy little dobber ( sorry not sure what it real name is but this works for me!) is the perfect tool to create the holes in the middle of the tarts. I have used this to make lemon and strawberry tarts and rolo tarts and they have been a hit each time.

A great pan for a great price

I needed another baking tin with small holes as I had one with 12 holes but had space in the oven for another, this was perfect. Having watched a video where the pastry was divided into balls of 10-15 g and then simply pushed into the holes with the pastry tool this looked like a time saver (no rolling out) and yes it was however the pastry bases resulting were rather thicker than the sides even when I pushed harder (thus the 4*)!The mince pies were still delicious and devoured quickly! I found that the best method was still to roll out the pastry and use a cutter as normal, the wooden tool then made it very easy to line the holes perfectly which was fiddly without the tool as the holes are slightly deeper than a regular 12 holed mini tart tin.
Very good quality and would definitely recommend.

This item that came is the best think that has been invented for creating small pastry items.

The onion and goats cheese is irresistable.

I would recommend this item to others as it is very easy to use.

This is a fantastic piece of kit! We have just made 24 apple and toffee pies and 48 mini buns for bonfire night. The pastry has cooked to perfection and the buns are even throughout. A little tip for you: I couldn't find cooking times for the buns so if you usually bake 12 for about 17 minutes on 180-190 degrees c then these take (in petit four cases) around 12 minutes at 180 degrees c. I can't wait to make mini mince pies for Christmas and might have to buy another one now my husband has used it!

The old adage "you get what you pay for" certainly does apply here. I ordered two styles when looking for a way to make mini cakes for children's tea parties, this pan weighed far more than the other one I ordered, the non-stick was better and the whole tin felt a lot more sturdy. A good buy.
