Brilliant game with replay value. Not the longest game but that was made very clear and it is slightly cheaper.Amazing what they achieved is such a short development time.Ray tracing looks ace but once you try the 60fps performance mode, you'll soon forget the 30fps ray tracing mode. Thank goodness 30fps is no longer the standard.Looking forward to Spiderman 2 very much. Sure to be amazing!!

So, there I was, embracing my inner Miles Morales with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PS5. As a grown adult, swinging through virtual New York never felt so right – or so hilariously wrong.

Upon opening the package, it was like unwrapping a birthday present from the universe. The anticipation was killing me, much like Miles getting zapped by his newfound powers. The game promised stunning visuals, fast loading, adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and even Tempest 3D AudioTech. My expectations were higher than Spidey on a skyscraper.

Now, why did I choose this game? Because, in the immortal words of Uncle Ben, "With great power comes great responsibility." I needed a responsibility, and by that, I mean hours of avoiding actual responsibilities. What I didn't anticipate was how this game would become the unexpected hero of my social life.

Imagine this: a date night, with Miles Morales as our third wheel. The stunning visuals and fast loading times turned what was supposed to be a chill gaming session into a high-octane, action-packed adventure. The adaptive triggers made every web-sling feel like an interactive lesson in flirtation. I'd pull back the trigger, release, and hope for a positive response – both in the game and across the table.

Embarrassment #1: The haptic feedback proved too immersive during an intense boss battle. My controller went wild, and in my panic, I knocked over my date's drink, creating a real-life 'Venom Blast' moment. Who knew gaming could be this electrifying?

Feeling emboldened by my dating fiasco, I decided to introduce the game to my parents. They were less impressed by the stunning visuals and more concerned about me getting a job. But hey, at least the Tempest 3D AudioTech made them feel like they were in the middle of a superhero showdown, right?

Work took an unexpected turn when my boss caught me web-swinging in the virtual streets instead of attending a virtual meeting. I blamed it on the ultra-high-speed SSD, but unfortunately, my excuse didn't swing. Let's just say my rise to superhero stardom cost me my day job. Thanks, Miles!

However, despite the embarrassing situations, this game transformed my life. The stunning visuals made me appreciate the beauty in everything – even my reflection in the mirror. The adaptive triggers? Let's just say they're my secret weapon in the dating game. No, really, dates have become competitions of who can handle the most "finger action."

And the Tempest 3D AudioTech? It's like ASMR for gamers. The sounds of the city immerse you in Miles' world, and sometimes I find myself standing on the balcony, pretending I'm overlooking Marvel's New York instead of my neighbor's questionable gardening choices.

In conclusion, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales isn't just a game; it's a life-altering experience. It's the unexpected hero that swung into my heart, leaving chaos, laughter, and a trail of spiderwebs in its wake.

The original spiderman game on the PS4 was brilliant, and this being one of the launch titles for PS5 i was truly excited. Overall the game does not disappoint and graphically is beautiful- i played it with Ray-tracing on as opposed to the 60fps mode. I do like the story as well. So why the 4 stars as opposed to a full-fat 5- well its because the game is short and it feels so compared to the first iteration. The first Spiderman game had multiple bosses, epic battles and a more comprehensive story line- it just felt complete, so when you finished the game and didnt expand it with the DLC that felt OK. This game feels way too short, the boss battles not as epic and demanding- so when i approached the final chapter of the story- I was like 'no way.' I had got to the end with not even all the skills, hadnt locked all the suits or upgrades, hadnt upgraded any of the weapons and yet I was on the cusp of the final part of the game. I purposely put it off so I could do all the above things-I like the game- so the likelihood is that I will be purchasing DLC content to expand the game which for a game at this price means I will probably end up paying closer to the £100 mark which is a really expensive standard edition game.

Excellent game. If you enjoyed the first one you’ll enjoy this just as much.
Whilst the game is a bit shorter and there are fewer side missions it feels a lot more streamlined than the first game.
The upgraded visuals are phenomenal and the attention to detail nothing short of amazing. Miles is a much newer hero and i liked how this plays out visually earlier in the game with the odd “stumble” or hesitation, it doesnt really affect gameplay but its a nice detail.
The animated suit with the comic style effects is also a nice little touch if a little distracting.

The haptic feedback on the controller is nice but barely registers, it doesnt quite feel as responsive as other titles.

Super hero fan or not this is a really fun game with a decent amount to do and something for a wide variety of gamers. I’ve played it to death and my 5 year old loves to just swing about the city.

Needless to say if you didnt like the first game then i cant imagine theres much here to change your mind. That said the game is a sight to behold and absolutely worth a look for any lovers of open world, action, shooter or adventure games.

This PS5 Spiderman Morales is the best game on the market. I was fortunately emailed with the Amazon offer and took them up on the reduced cost. Well packaged and came the day after.
This dvd/PS5 is second to none. The game content is superb, with the graphics as good as they get.
I can only play the game intermittently due to personal circumstances but so far it is riveting!
Buy it you will not be disappointed. DB

Gameplay and graphical performance is solid. The story though predictable (figured out the villain within the first few minutes), definitely builds on a solid comic book story arc filled with great boss battles and set pieces. The improved combat mechanics, swinging tricks, stealth, and challenges make it a solid purchase. My biggest gripe would be how short the game is, and really serves as DLC rather than a stand alone game. I look forward to completing this game as I roll into spiderman 2 for PS5.
