Book into sections first a full body warm up The Sun Salutation. The different poses are explained, and which parts of the body they work. Also instructions on how to do each pose. The in goes into each into how and which Yoga poses could help strengthen and different aspects of hard style martial arts, such as blocks, throws, and strikes.
This book is much better, more comprehensive, and useful as a martial arts student the Lily Chou's second book the Anatomy of martial arts. As the title says this is a book for people praticing martial arts, i would recomend it to anyone who wants to get better at their chosen art. In the introduction Lily honestly tell all readers that this book's sugestions should be used as a companion to their martial art, as people will not get better at their art if they just pratice Yoga inplace of their martial art completly.
