Seriously, this is a really loud amp. I thought i willl hear my accoustic sound of strumming when im plugged in but no, it is so loud that you cannot hear your strumming.Just in the amp! :D ,
A)CLEAN Channel: if the tone is the minimum, and volume is maximum, the amp is quiet, but this set is the best to use in your flat, room for practise, believe me the next to sets will be so loud :D
B)Clean channel: Volume full up, tone full up, the amp is now loud and the neighbours MIGHT come over if you keep playing.
ok. THE A)OVERDRIVE CHANNEL: tone minimum, volume max, good overdriven sound it is loud, but not as loud as OD Channel B): tone max, vol. max, and the neighbours will definitely come over if you keep playing on that channel!!!:D The last one is the best od sound you can get out of the amp, altough you WILL ALWAYS have to turn the volume MAX to get a good crunchy Marshall OD sound!!!and that means you cannot play in the evening :(.
YOu can use headphones! Headphone input, note you need a 6.35 mm jack end headphone to plug in the amp(same size as the guitars jack). Adaptors not included, i had my own that i bought with a ZOOM FX pedal, so i always use it with an adaptor. and take it to school with batteries. but take 2 batteries in case 1 'dies' :D
GREAT LITTLE AMP!!! BUY IT!
I was using a pair of Ross external CD speakers coming off of my trusty Boss ME6 headphones outlet and they were perfectly ok - until my cat knocked them off of the ledge they were on & killed them.
So new speakers/amp required.
I found this and the MS-2.
Reading the reviews I decided that for under £30 this had to be tried out. I'm glad I did, it's brilliant.
I am so impressed with the sound this little guy pumps out.
I got an external power supply & I think it's probably, for me, the perfect home pactice amp.
I've had little 10w practice amps before but they were alwayts a little OTT at home, I think this one is all I need.
Just the job.
Very happy with it.
Hope this helped.
The amplifier works perfectly with my Gibson SG Standard and provides an outstanding rock sound when I'm jamming out AC/DC songs, as well as a clean sound for some blues or reggae. The power of this amplifier is amazing and it almost matches a Roland Cube 15 when on full volume, in spite of their size differences. For me, the best pro of this amplifier, which is where Fender loses out, is the hinge on the back, allowing for the amplifier to be in a slightly angled position. The hinge can also be placed in your pocked et voila! you have a belt amplifier. I like to put the amp in between my bed frame and matress, however the possibilities that this hinge gives you are so abundant that I would exceed the review word limit. I definitely recommend this amplifier for anyone who needs something small but powerful.
Would recomened to anyone i am very pleased withmy purchase.
Great sound on the clean channel then switch over to distortion and you become Angus Young (if you've got an SG).

Very disappointed with the amp. It arrived promptly on the day it was meant to and I was looking forward to playing my guitar through it. Unfortunately the amp didn't work. Read morePublished 12 days ago by Rab79
My mini amp lasted a week. All it does now is hum when turned on or buzz with distortion. The sound would also flick between clean and distorted when playing. Read morePublished 17 days ago by Amazon Customer
