I loved this second book in this series, Eliza and Carter didn't see that coming.

Really enjoyed learning their fate. This book had my stomach in knots, loved the dog! Shoe eating monster! Haha.

I really loved catching up with Sam and Blake, and learning about Gwen, their honky-tonk evening, albeit the catalyst for the beginning of their story, had me chuckling out loud.

Can't wait to read about Karen in the next installment.

This is the second in this series but you do not need to have read the first to understand it.

This is the story of Carter, who wants to be a politician, and Eliza who has a big secret to keep. When they end up in a compromising position only marriage will save Carter's career but it will also cause significant problems.

This is a good read. It flows well. There are plenty of amusing bits. The ending is very predictable but satisfying.

Only one quibble - one character is supposed to be English, she frequently greets people, even people she doesn't know with a kiss on each cheek, we are told that this is because she is typically European. For the author's guidance, this may be typical in continental Europe but not so usual in England !

Ignore that issue. If you like a light romantic story, read and enjoy.

This is book 2 in the Weekday Brides Series and is the story of Eliza & Carter who we've met in book 1.

Carter is running for his election campaign and Eliza is still running from the demons of her past. When an incident makes the couple more public then usual, protection and secrets become the forefront of the couples lives.

Great characters, lovely HEA and great to catch up with Samantha & Blake from book 1. An addictive series to get engaged in.

I am reading these books in order so this is the second I have read. It is as good as the first and includes characters from that book - it really is like a family series and I am loving them. Off to buy the other five now.

Fantastic love how the stories keeps you wondering . Would highly recommend the author and books. I for one can't wait to see if Catherine Bybee continues the books and the characters and takes them further

I started with the not quite series by Bybee and have since moved onto this series. As always story full of romance and suspense and I always enjoy how each book is from a different characters perspective but you already know who they are from the previous story. Can't wait to read Gwens story.

This is the fourth book on the series It is better to read them in sequence as the same characters are in each book although the storylines are all different with new characters added I'm a fussy reader but have enjoyed each of these stories and looking forward to starting series 5
