I've read many M&B tales by this author in the past.

This was too short to really have any impact. It would have made a good full length novel. Typical M&B problems with her thinking he doesn't love her. We get both their POV's but it did seem a tad silly that they had been married two years enjoying an active sex life and he just assumed that she should know he loves her without the actual words especially ridiculous when she had been saying the three little words to him for well over a year but he didn't think to return the favour.

The ending didn't really confirm which one of them was the infertile one. Not that it matters I suppose.

This is a very short and if I'm being totally honest a bit of a silly but sweet read, although we know beforehand it's only 33 pages this book actually finishes 56% of the way the rest is an excerpt and list of other books by this author.
This is a Mills and Boon type of read including the classic line 'The infertility had to lie with her, He was too virile, too much of a man, to be the problem' I actually quite enjoyed this book for what it was and you know from the blurb what type of book you're getting, the 2 stars is not as negative as it appears it's just that I struggle with rating very short books.

There is no plot. development or characterisation beyond a few cliches. This does not tempt me to read other works by this author. Don't waste your time on this one.
