CANON 70D
This is what I have sent to the manufacturer :-

I tried again today Switched on GPS working fine giving altitude and Lat & Long Switched on the 70D Went to GPS menu Selected - set time - camera froze - had to switch gps off to go back to the menu Selected - calibrate compass - camera froze - had to switch gps off. I purchased it because you said it is compatible with the Canon 70D it is not. I am going to report this to Amazon

Bought this as a backup for my Canon gps add on : does what it says. Minor niggles are that the hot shoe attachment dos not lock and if the device is knocked this can result in it coming off the camera. It has a rechargeable battery which world OK but the life is far less than the normal batteries that you insert into the canon gps. Nevertheless value for money - it would be even better if the build quality were more robust.

This should have been an excellent addition to my photography kit except that it only worked for a few days then stopped working all together.
With no obvious reasons for failure I decided to request a refund which was promptly processed.
I would hope that my experience of this unit does not deter future buyers as I feel sure my experiences were not typical of this company, hence my 3-star rating is for their prompt reimbursement.

It did what it said on the can. Tried it out today, January 3rd, and Lightroom's Maps showed me exactly where I'd taken them, not that I didn't know already.
