Now I feel like I have to explain, which I will of course, as it's the point of a review.
Firstly the quality of the finish is outstanding. The dark leather with the Dragon motif,, the contrasted yellow soft interior. There is nothing to complain about and everything to adore.
My gripes are about practicality - I'll explain.
The front panel has a flap that is tight to begin with but does loosen up over time. This flap is where you tuck your back panel into to create a stand. Gripes now in numerical format.
1 - The flap only works in landscape mode, there is no flap for portrait. Many of us use iphones and share apps. This has been overlooked by the manufacturers of this product and every review that I have read on the net before buying. Nobody tells you that if you have apps that you use on an iPad and iPhone, you will have lie down to look at the iphone version on your ipad, or just hold an awkward triangle in your hands whilst you play games - i think not. This is an oversight and is easily remedied.
2- The stand is ALWAYS iPad front heavy meaning that on anything but an even surface, the Ipad becomes unwatchable as you are constantly trying to balance it out. At best it hampers your viewing options in bed, unless you speak nicely to the wife. At worse it falls over and cracks your screen.
This is a hard review because I love the design and the contrast of the dark leather and the yellow soft interior. It has to be said, however, that I have had better functionality from a £15 case that had a turntable and could be used in any orientation.
It's a lot of money that I've wasted that I regret, despite it's endearing appearance.
and worth the extra cost,if you can afford this Get it.
