This excellent book covers the 1984 - 1985 England cricket tour of India & Australia, a momentous affair both on and off the pitch. The title, of course, refers to Marks' role as a one day player and thus a spectator for all of the tests.
Very well written and perceptive, if you listen to Vic now on TMS etc. you can so easily imagine him reading this book out to you.
Worth rooting out from 2nd hand stalls etc., a fine read.
