I've read a lot of biker romances recently and this one stood out to me as having a rather unique storyline. It is fun, oh so hot and I really enjoyed it. Marked as His is the third book in the Club Ties series but it can also be read as a standalone. This is the second book I've read by this author now and I love her writing style, she successfully manages to balance steamy hot sex with a well thought out storyline and strong characters. I'll definitely be reading more from this author.

Paxton is the resident tattooist for the Hell's Sons MC, but he wants to prove he can do more than ink the club members so he can earn his blood patch. His mission is not what he expected - he just has to bring the estranged daughter of one of his fellow club members back to the club. Easy, right? Maybe not!

I absolutely loved Paxton - he's a tough, badass biker but he is also caring and a real sweetie (he probably wouldn't like to be called that though!). Santana is a fabulous heroine - after her father walked out on the family she had to learn to be tough, and she can definitely stand up for herself. On the inside though she is still a little girl who hurts after being abandoned by her father.

The story takes place over a short time period, just a few days, so it was kind of insta-love (well insta-lust anyway) but it worked as there was a real connection between Paxton and Santana. I would love there to be a sequel to this story so we can see how their relationship progresses. I really enjoyed this book and give it five stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

HASH(0x9a97e1d4) out of 5 stars I absolutely love this series 8 May 2015

Talk about a knock you on your tail MC novel!! I absolutely love this series!!!! Im actually not a big fan of these type of novels but wanted to try one and have been hooked since the first page. All can be read as standalone because they each have a unique story that will pull you into their world. With the exquisite cover pages follows strong characters that will have you laugh and are steamy the next. Paxton,  hot tattoo artist for our favorite MC was given something simple. Pick up girl and take her to place B. And he will earn his patch! Instead he is way over his head when Santana has other plans for him that involves handcuffs.  Oh yeah I would definitely too!!! Will the alpha male be able to tame the feisty woman with issues? The chemistry sparked and trust me I wanted more! I really cant pick my favorite novel because this author has made me start likong MC type novels. The authors talents are very well seen when you read her novels because this is a page turner. I loved the plot, especially how it started out because trust me the author doesn’t keep you waiting long. Pick up this amazing read for your next MC and you won’t regret it!!!!
HASH(0x9a978780) out of 5 stars A Quick Sexy Read 7 May 2015
By Melissa72 - Published on Amazon.com

This is a MC book that is easy to fall into, the plot is smooth and the characters are realistic and likable. Paxton is a tattoo artist who wants to earn his blood patch. He is offered the opportunity and jumps at it. All he has to do is bring a members daughter to him. Sounds easy right? Then he meets Santana, said members daughter. This is a girl with seriously daddy issues, valid ones I'd say. She wants nothing to do with her father. She can't say the same about the tall, gorgeous, hottie sent to fetch her though. The chemistry between the two is electric. Without giving too much away it becomes, who's capturing who? Will Paxton get Santana to see her father? What will happen between
Paxton and Santana? The only problem I have with this story is that it seems to just end, like the last few pages are missing. Other than that, it's a really good read. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
HASH(0x9a97d3a8) out of 5 stars FINE, BUT REALLY SHORT...WISH IT WAS LONGER 12 May 2015
By BookAngel Blog - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This book is short. And all takes place within 24 hours. That was a little annoying. I really wanted it to be longer. Paxton was hot, but it was really hard to get deep into the characters because of how short it was. This was definitely an erotic book. There were a lot of scenes. Also Santana is irritating. She goes back and forth on whether or not she wants to go to the clubhouse. Finally when she decides to go to the clubhouse she then goes running, in the wilderness this time. I would have gotten over this in time if the book had been longer. Overall it was short and predictable and not my favorite. I usually love MC books, but this one didn't really do it for me. Don't get me wrong. The writing was good and flow was fine, just way to short, but if that is your thing then you will love it. 3/5 stars.
HASH(0x9a97d558) out of 5 stars Feisty--Hot--Just what I needed... 7 May 2015
By Anneconley - Published on Amazon.com

I'm not ashamed to admit, I'm a HUGE fan of Ms. Petrova. Any time I'm in need of something hawt, she never fails to fulfill my need. And Marked as His did not disappoint. With a feisty heroine and a totally badass hero, I was enthralled from the beginning. I love Ms. Petrova's biker series--it's one of my favorites. I've read biker books (who hasn't, if your an avid romance reader, they're hard to avoid) but hers stand out from the crowd. I fell in love a little bit with Paxton in Heart Ties, and was super excited to read his story in Marked as His. What I liked the most I think, was that while Paxton was badass/alpha/everything hot and amazing, he still was the low man on the totem pole, needing to get Santana to get his patch. And Santana got the best of him, right off the bat. Awesomeness.
