After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Mark worked for almost a decade as a newspaper and television reporter before becoming a high school teacher.
Outside the classroom, he spends his weekends exploring caves throughout the South and spends his summers traveling around the world in search of adventure. To date, he's visited 50+ countries, as well as lived abroad in England, Guatemala, and Singapore. Currently, he finds himself living and teaching in Zimbabwe.
"Sleeping in the Homes of Strangers: A Month-Long Journey of Trust" is Mark's debut novel.
