A coffee-guzzling journalist turned novelist, Mark Cantrell has spent a good few years chasing the literary dream in one form or another.
Mark is the author of CITIZEN ZERO (2017), a science fiction thriller in the dystopian tradition, and the dark urban horror, SILAS MORLOCK (2013). Both titles are published by Inspired Quill.
Novels form the main focus of his literary life but he has penned a good few short stories in his time. Some of these have appeared in small press fiction magazines, both in print and online. He's also self-published a selection of his works for the Kindle.
Born and bred in the West Yorkshire city of Bradford, he now lives in Stoke-on-Trent and commutes Manchester where he works as a journalist. Mark studied political theory and institutions at the University of Liverpool. Following that, he trained in journalism at the City University, London.
