Format: Hardcover
This book is brilliant for anyone taking a course/module in marine biology or even anyone with a keen interest in this feild. It takes you through all the important areas, with helpful "hot topic" pages to link academic work with what's going on in the world. My lecturer is a little bit in love with this book and I can't blame him. It can be dipped into lightly, with vast amounts of bite-size summary information, or read thoroughly, with review questions designed to help bring together what you have read. A truly well written, academic book!

An absoutely amazing insight to the marine world. I bought this for my 13 year old 'budding marine biologist' for
Christmas and I know once she opens the book she will not be able to put it down!

This book is given by the University I go to to all of its Marine Biology students. It is a brilliant book absolutely filled with important and valuable information for students, but also interesting information for those with an interest in the subject that would like to research further. I would definitely recommend.
