A most interesting insight into a lady who knew her own mind. Having once met Marianne many years ago outside a theatre in London, reading this book was as listening to her during that conversation. The book covers all aspects of Marianne's life and I found it most interesting and informative. Well written and with warmth and much compassion, but more importantly HONEST.

Don't waste your money on this account of an interview. I have no doubt that Marianne Faithfull is a fascinating woman and that a fabulous book could be written about her life and experiences. This isn't it. It is a very short, repetitive set of words that appear to have been poorly cut out of a longer work which may have a little more substance.

Great title, rubbish apart from that.

I resent the money paid and would feel cheated even if it had been free.

This is a sycophantic, dull and worthless piece of writing. I can see no point to it except to give the writer, and subject, a chance show their predilection for name dropping. Both, sadly the subject too, have sunk in my estimation.

Couldn't finish the book I'm afraid. It isn't a biography in my eyes, it doesn't go into much detail about her life. Just that she took drugs and livd on the street. I found it boring to be honest.
