There are many books on Marc Chagall and with the exhibition of his work at Tate LIverpool in 2013 there is renewed interest. You may wonder why this particular Taschen book seems to demand higher prices. A quick comparison of some works with originals in the exhibition shows why.. the colours are invariably more accurate. This makes the read all the more enjoyable and Baal-Teshuva's text is both informative and eminently readable.
Besides the large hardback edition there is a "midi size" paperback version, in fact quite a good sized book, and often cheaper than the hardback, which now demands relatively high prices.
