As a mapper myself I very much enjoyed this book and the way it has been integrated with elements of NLP, Pareto Law and the Grow Model to name a few. Insightful, engaging and resourceful; this book is ideal for the coach who is serious about their own Continued Professional Development as well as looking into the client drivers that lead to change, growth and achievement in both life and work.

As coaches we all need tool kits to help us help our clients. This brings together the very best of NLP and coaching and combines it with the most powerful coaching tool I’ve come across Motivational Maps. As a ‘train the trainer’ of coaches, NLP and Motivational Maps I can speak from the heart when I say that this book fantastically combines and brings the best from these tools. This book will not only help you but it will seriously help clients you work with.
The authors demonstrate how this combination of coaching and mapping can get to the heart of a person’s issues more accurately, more quickly and more elegantly.
This of course leads to more robust outcomes for the client, and indeed why this is a innovative approach for getting the best form people, teams and an organisation.
Amongst the many riches this book has to offer, the reader will find reference to NLP and how this enhances further the coaching relationship.
The book provides a good balance of the practical and the academic. Each chapter includes practical, workable activities which allow the reader to absorb and embed the learnings.
A goldmine for new or experienced coaches. The link with Motivational Mapping takes the practitioner to deeper levels of understanding and effectiveness.
The book contains practical activities in each chapter to use for your development or with your client, being able to dip in and out of the book when faced with specific situations is extremely useful.
An extremely insightful and practical book.
