5.0 out of 5 stars A pragmatic book about mantras 16 Jun. 2013
By Cliente de Amazon - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Before reading "Mantras: The sacred chants" I had been trying to read "Science of Being and Art of Living" authored by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (I could not end reading it). I may say that what I was looking for in the book of Mahesh Prasad Varma is what I have found in the book of Bharati. I was looking for a mainly pragmatic explanation of what mantras are and what is it the practice with mantras rather than a theosophical doctrine.
