About the Author
Phil Rowlands lives in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales. A retired primary head teacher who refuses to 'go gently into that good night' and instead reinvented himself as an author of fiction and children's educational material.
He is co-editor of 'Eto Magazine' which he set up with two friends who live in Portland, Oregon. His novel Jack's High reflects his interest in bowls and his outrageous sense of humour.

Phil has almost finished his children's novel, The Pit of Shadows and if he can avoid being rugby tackled by his young grandson every time he ventures from his desk he hopes to publish it sometime in 2016!
