A brilliant product. Begins with a little piece on the origins of football and then goes right through Manchester City's history from St. Mark's (West Gorton) to the present day. It includes many photographs of different sizes some key ones take up a 2 page spread, the text doesn't just give an overview of the seasons but includes key results, appointments and signings along the way. The DVDs are excellent with 2 discs dedicated to MCFC classic matches and another 2 dedicated to City's victories against United (no, not the modern ones given it is a "backpass through history" but the 5-1 win in 1989 is particularly good one) and both audio and video are great considering the era these were filmed. It also includes a sections on some outstanding players and the managers with both Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini receiving 2 pages each detailing their life as a player and a manager. Finally the last page is all about statistics Man City's position in the league (in every division they played in) is laid out whilst underneath League and Cup competition titles/trophies are listed.

My one criticism would be of the way the DVDs are secured. A piece of plastic is glued onto the back page, this piece of plastic has a raised triangle in the middle of it the idea being that the hole in the center of the disc is pushed down on top of the triangle to secure the discs in place. The problem with this is that the discs don't always lie flat and can give the feeling that they will end up sliding out.

Other than that one issue it really is a must have for Man City fans!

RUBBISH-a real mess. The book is only 128 pages although very nice and shiny, most of the pictures have no info, and some absolute clangers of facts. City lost to both Blackpool and West Ham home and away in the 2010/11 season? Actually they won all 4 games! 4 dvd's that could easily fit onto 1, why? They only cover 1971 to 1989, with nothing remotely unlikey to be in most City fans collections already. At a hefty price tag, one to be avoided.

The videos are not as clear. Wish the quality is better especially for the earlier history of a highly promising club.

Love this book. I only wish it had the Gillingham game on it.
